There are no excuses to succumb to sin. There is no temptation that is too great to overcome. There is absolutely no reason to continue to live in sin after Christ suffered tremendously on the cross in order to free you from it. He was beaten beyond recognition, pierced for my transgressions, literally sweating blood due to the stress and pain. He suffered God’s wrath against my sin. Me. The unrighteous. Instead of giving me my just punishment, He decided to offer up His Son, His perfect and blameless Son, so that I might be set free from sin. The just for the unjust. The righteous for the unrighteous. So who I am to continue to give in to passions of the flesh? Who am I that I might continue to walk in what Christ suffered to pay for? Who am I to not fully obey all of His commands every single moment in order to glorify Him? This is the call of His people. To follow Him at all costs.
13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
1 Corinthians 10:13

I am beginning to prepare to endeavor closer to the heart of the Lord soon. To do so, I am going to have to say goodbye to social networking for a time.
